St. John’s Northwestern to Host Wisconsin Service Academy Day in Partnership with U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin’s Office

DELAFIELD, Wis. — Students interested in attending one of the nation’s prestigious U.S. service academies will have an opportunity to learn more about admissions and the nomination
process when St. John’s Northwestern hosts Wisconsin Service Academy Day on September 12, 2026, in partnership with the office of U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin.
The event will bring students and families from across Wisconsin to the St. John’s Northwestern campus to connect with representatives and liaisons from the U.S. service academies, Senator
Baldwin’s office and members of Wisconsin’s congressional delegation. In addition to service academy representatives, scholarship representatives will also be available for ROTC programs at the university and collegiate level.
Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy and U.S.
Merchant Marine Academy, including admissions requirements, congressional and senatorial nomination processes, and what students can expect from the academy experience.
“Hosting Service Academy Day is a natural fit for St. John’s Northwestern and our commitment to helping young men and women pursue ambitious paths of leadership and service,” said Mike
Fink, President of St. John’s Northwestern. “For students considering a future at one of our nation’s service academies, having access to these representatives and resources can be an
important first step.”
St. John’s Northwestern offers a college-preparatory education that combines rigorous academics with opportunities for leadership development, including a distinguished JROTC
program. For students interested in pursuing military service and officership, those experiences can provide an early foundation in leadership, accountability and service.
The event continues to grow in reach and impact. Last year, more than 150 prospective students and family members attended Service Academy Day, demonstrating strong interest
among Wisconsin students and families in learning more about pathways to the nation’s service academies.
