Why Alumni Weekend is Special
For generations of cadets and students, St. John’s Northwestern was more than just a school; it was a home that helped shape character, forged lifelong friendships, and created memories that remain vivid decades later. Alumni Weekend 2027 is your opportunity to reconnect with that experience and see firsthand how the Academy continues to honor its rich traditions while preparing today's cadets for the future.
We intentionally selected April 30 – May 2, 2027, because spring is one of the most active and beautiful times on campus. The Academy is in full stride, academic and leadership programs are on full display, and alumni have the opportunity to experience the energy, discipline, and spirit that make St. John’s Northwestern unique. Whether it is our Aviation, Drone, Engineering, or Robotics programs, the Academy continues its mission of educating leaders and preparing young men and women for success in the 21st-century workforce.
Whether you graduated five years ago or fifty years ago, returning to campus allows you to reconnect with classmates, revisit favorite places, share stories with fellow alumni, and witness the remarkable progress taking place across the Academy. You can even take the controls of one of our state-of-the-art flight simulators and experience firsthand one of the many innovative programs available to today's cadets. You'll see familiar traditions, meet current cadets, and gain a renewed appreciation for the institution that helped shape your life.
Special reunion recognition will be given to classes ending in 2 and 7, but all alumni, families, and friends are encouraged to attend. From the parade and alumni gatherings to campus tours, special presentations, and opportunities to interact with cadets and faculty, Alumni Weekend is designed to celebrate our shared history while strengthening the future of the Academy.
The friendships built here never fade. We invite you to come home, walk the grounds once again, reconnect with old friends, and help ensure that future generations of cadets enjoy the same life-changing experience that we did.

Hosted by the St. John's Northwestern Alumni Association, this special weekend celebrates the lifelong connections, traditions, and experiences that make SJN more than just a school. As we prepare for our 3rd Annual Alumni Weekend, we invite alumni from every generation to return to campus and experience everything that's new while reconnecting with what has always made SJN special.
Reconnect with classmates, reminisce with faculty and staff, and hear directly from President Bob Fine as he shares the exciting vision for the future of St. John's Northwestern. Discover how today's students are thriving through innovative, specialized programs built with future aspirations in mind, including Engineering, Robotics & Aviation (E.R.A.), leadership development through the Corps of Cadets, and expanded academic opportunities.
Throughout the weekend, you'll experience the traditions that define SJN while creating new memories with fellow alumni and your families. Enjoy signature events like LancerFest, watch the precision and pageantry of the Corps of Cadets Parade, experience the renowned Silver Rifles, revisit the president's house, and explore campus through hands-on demonstrations featuring flight simulators, drones, robotics, and more.
