Swimmer Camila Torres Breaks Two School Records in Dual Meet

DELAFIELD, Wis. – St. John’s Northwestern senior Camila Torres delivered a historic performance in the pool on Friday, February 7, breaking two school records during a dual meet against Wayland Academy and cementing her place in the Lancer swimming record books.
Torres set a new school record in the 200-yard Individual Medley, finishing with a time of 2:30.65. Her performance surpassed the previous mark of 2:34.78, which had been held by Sophie Zielinski. Later in the meet, Torres continued her standout day by breaking the 100-yard Breaststroke record, posting an impressive time of 1:21.37 and eclipsing the former record of 1:32.23, also set by Zielinski in 2022.
