Silver Rifles is open exclusively to cadets. New students may try out at the beginning of the year, and those who demonstrate commitment and interest are given the chance to develop their skills with the team.
Cadets develop advanced drill and ceremonial techniques, precision rifle handling, teamwork, and focus under pressure. These skills also foster leadership, confidence, and personal discipline that carry over into academics and daily cadet life.
Cadets who commit to the team are recognized with a distinctive uniform device or tab, symbolizing their achievement and membership in one of SJN’s most respected groups.
