Starting in Style

Now entering his third season in the NBA, Brandin Podziemski (’21) looks to leap to stardom in his third season with the Golden State Warriors.

The 2025-26 season is young, but through five games, “Podz” is averaging 12.6 points per game and shooting a strong 47% from the field.

Playoff Run

The 2023 NBA Draft’s No. 19 pick embraced a larger role this season. Starting in 33 of 64 games and improving his scoring average to 11.7 points per game. On April 3, he dazzled fans with a career-high 28 points in a high-energy win over the Lakers, going 8-for-10 from beyond the arc and nailing a sensational half-court buzzer-beater.

The Rising Star

After the Golden State Warriors bowed out of the 2024 NBA Playoffs on Tuesday (April 16) night against the Sacramento Kings, Brandin Podziemski’s rookie season is officially in the books. For the 2021 St. John’s Northwestern graduate, the 2023-24 season was full of promise for a bright future, and one that Lancer fans will remember fondly.
