St. John’s Northwestern to Host Veterans Day Ceremony Honoring Service and Sacrifice

DELAFIELD, WI. (October 10, 2025) — St. John’s Northwestern will host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, November 7, at 11:00 a.m. in Farrand Hall Gymnasium, located at 1101 Genesee Street, Delafield, Wisconsin. The event is open to the public, and all veterans, alumni, families, and community members are warmly invited to attend.

The ceremony, led by the 142nd Student Body of St. John’s Northwestern, will include performances by the St. John’s Northwestern Band and a special exhibition by the Silver Rifles, the Academy’s renowned precision drill team. Together, they will present a moving tribute recognizing the courage and service of our nation’s veterans.

“We are proud to open our doors to the greater community on this meaningful day of remembrance,” said Jon Bennett, History Instructor and Alumni Specialist. “It’s a moment for our students to reflect on the sacrifices made for our freedoms and to honor those who have worn the uniform.”

Veterans and alumni planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP by November 1 to Mr. Jon Bennett at jbennett@stjohnsnorthwestern.org  so their attendance can be specially recognized during the ceremony.

Additionally, SJN is inviting veterans to submit photographs from their time in service. These images will be featured in a video tribute presentation during the event, offering a personal and powerful reminder of the individuals who have defended our nation throughout generations.
