SJN recognizes that every family’s financial picture looks different, and we are committed to providing a thorough review of every applicant’s individual circumstances. Financial aid is awarded to eligible students based on need and availability of funds. It is SJN’s expectation that families contribute to the cost of their child’s education at the highest level they are able.
In order to be considered for financial need-based aid, please contact the Admissions Department at 262-646-7199. Once a conversation has taken place with an admissions counselor, and the application for a new student has been submitted, a link will then be emailed to access the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to complete for a charge of $45. Only then will we be able to determine need-based assistance.
The Grant & Aid Assessment is designed for domestic (US-citizen) students only. Families of international students must submit a written request to the Financial Aid Committee explaining circumstances meriting need-based financial aid. The Financial Aid Committee reviews assessments once they are submitted, and will contact you in 7-10 business days.
Families must reapply for financial aid every year. Applying for aid assistance early is recommended, as financing must be secured prior to enrollment.
Utilizing 529 Plans
Starting in 2018, individuals (parents, grandparents, other relatives) may be able to withdraw 529 plan funds, up to $10,000 a year, to pay for private school K-12 expenses. Therefore, the 529 plan funds can be used toward tuition at St. John’s Northwestern. Please contact us for more information on how these funds can be applied toward your student’s tuition.
